🏥 Anesthesia Considerations
⚠ Can breath-hold for hours — inhalant induction unreliable
Injectable induction (alfaxalone or propofol). Intubate after induction. IPPV mandatory. Extremely slow recovery — monitor for hours. Maintain temp 78-82°F.
