Reservations live in a paper book or Google Calendar. Half the time the front desk forgets to charge for the boarding nights. Owner discovers it at month-end and shrugs.
The boarding softwareCornerstone forgot to build.
It treats boarding as an afterthought. ezyVet sells it as an add-on. We built it into the same record as your medical work, at no extra cost.
Reservations · daily kennel logs · grooming bookings · per-day auto-charges · all built in.

Your boarding revenue is hidingin spreadsheets, sticky notes, and three different apps.
Kennel staff write logs on a clipboard. Then somebody types them in. Then they get lost. Owner asks "did Bella eat yesterday?" — nobody knows.
Grooming bookings sit in yet another system. The groomer's calendar app doesn't talk to Cornerstone. Vaccine status doesn't sync. The cash drawer doesn't reconcile.
Per-day charges are manual. Boarding for 7 days at $35 a night plus a bath and nail trim. Front desk does the math on a Post-it. Sometimes wrong. Always slow.
You're losing 8–14% of your boarding revenue to charges nobody ever entered. For a midsize practice that is a $40,000 hole, every year.
One record. From booking to checkout. Nothing falls through.
Reservations that talk to the medical record
Drag-and-drop reservation calendar. Vaccine status auto-checked at booking — no Bordetella? The system flags it before the dog walks in.
Daily kennel logs on iPad
Eating · drinking · urination · defecation · medication given · play time · weight check. Tap-and-go, time-stamped, photo-attachable. Owner sees a daily update via the client portal.
Grooming inside the same chart
Bath, nail trim, full groom, anal gland expression — all bookable, all tracked, all auto-billed. Groomer notes sync to the patient record. No separate software.
Per-day auto-charges
Boarding nights, day-care days, grooming services, meds-administered fees, special diet upcharges — all auto-billed at checkout with one click. Math is never wrong.
Photo updates to anxious owners
Snap a photo of Bella playing in the yard. Tap "send to owner." They get a smile, you get a 5-star review and a repeat booking.
Vaccine compliance enforced
Rabies expired? Bordetella overdue? RosaVet blocks the booking and emails the owner with a one-click appointment scheduler to update. Liability problem solved.

"Mrs. Henderson dropping off Bella"to "see you next time."
Online booking, 6 PM Tuesday
Mrs. Henderson books online via the practice's client portal. RosaVet checks Bella's vaccines automatically — Bordetella is 18 months old, expired. Booking blocks. Email goes to Mrs. Henderson with a one-click appointment offer to update before drop-off.
Vaccine update, Saturday morning
Mrs. Henderson brings Bella in for the booster. The DVM administers, signs off in 4-second voice SOAP, and the boarding reservation auto-clears the compliance flag. No human in the loop.
Drop-off, Monday 8 AM
Front desk pulls up Bella's reservation. Special diet (sensitive stomach kibble), one daily medication (Apoquel), preferred kennel block (quieter west-side runs). All pre-loaded. Three-second check-in.
Daily kennel logs, every day
Tech taps in: ate full breakfast, 2 normal stools, 30 min play time, Apoquel given 8:15 AM. Snaps a photo of Bella playing tug. Mrs. Henderson gets a push notification: "Bella had a great morning — here's a photo." She forwards it to her family group chat. (Free marketing.)
Mid-stay grooming, Thursday
Pre-booked bath + nail trim. Groomer pulls Bella, completes service, taps in notes ("matted ear feathers, recommend regular grooming"). Charge auto-applies to the reservation invoice.
Pickup, Sunday 4 PM
Front desk taps "checkout." RosaVet shows: 7 nights at $35 + 7 days of meds-administered ($5/day) + bath + nail trim + matted-ear groomer recommendation note. Total = $315. Mrs. Henderson taps her card. Receipt emailed. Bella's discharge summary auto-generated for the medical record.
Three days later
RosaVet sends a follow-up: "How was Bella's stay? Book your next reservation." Mrs. Henderson clicks. Books Christmas week. The flywheel keeps spinning.
“We're going to put the first real customer quote here once RosaVet has shipping clinics. Until then: imagine it from a clinic owner who used to lose $40K a year in boarding charges nobody entered, and now doesn't. They're going to have nice things to say.”

Real questions we've heard.
Does the boarding module cost extra?
No. Every RosaVet subscription includes boarding and grooming at every tier. We don't gate features by price — solo doc and 25-DVM hospital both get every module.
Can my groomer use it without medical access?
Yes. RosaVet has 12 staff roles and you decide what each one sees — your groomer sees grooming bookings, vaccine status (pass/fail only), and the patient's name and breed. They don't see medical records or financial data unless you grant it.
What if my kennel doesn't have iPads?
Anything with a browser works — old Android tablets ($80 used), refurbished iPads, even a wall-mounted laptop in the kennel. RosaVet's web app is mobile-first.
Can I migrate boarding history from my current system?
Yes. Free self-serve migration from Cornerstone, AVImark, eVet/EzyVet, and Impromed-CSV — upload your export and our parser handles it. Boarding logs come over with timestamps and notes intact. Want us to run it for you? White-glove migration is $499 flat, one-time (non-refundable, covers the labor).
What about overnight emergency boarding?
RosaVet flags after-hours arrivals separately and applies your overnight rate automatically. Emergency boarders integrate with the queue board so on-call staff sees them.
