Half your visits are 30+ miles from cell signal. The cloud PMS doesn't care. It demands a connection. You write notes on receipts and reconcile at home.
Equine drug dosing is not "small-animal × 30." Detomidine, butorphanol, xylazine — different ranges, different routes, different math. Generic dose calculators aren't built for it.
Coggins forms and health certificates are PDFs from 1998. You print, fill, scan, email. The owner needs it for a show on Saturday. You hope the file finds them.
Multi-day routes are a paper notebook. 18 farms, 47 horses, 3 days, 4 counties. Your tech tries to plan it in Excel. Half the time you forget who needs what.
Equine vets serve 7.2 million horses with 2,800 active practitioners. The software industry has ignored you. Not anymore.
Coming Q4 2026: PowerSync SQLite on your iPad. Full chart, full formulary, full schedule offline. Sync when you're back in coverage. Works from a saddle. (Today: online-only with connectivity warnings.)
Built for horses, not extrapolated from dogs. Detomidine + butorphanol combos, dexmedetomidine reversal, NSAID withdrawal times for sport horses, breed-specific risk profiles for warmbloods, drafts, ponies.
Every sedation event: drug, dose, route, time, recovery duration. Append-only by design. Audit-clean. Saves your bacon when the FEI vet asks for records on a competition horse.
USDA-approved templates. Auto-fill from chart data. Digital signature. Email or print. Owner gets it before they're back in the truck.
Three-day spring vaccine route, 47 horses, 18 farms, 4 counties. RosaVet maps it, sequences it, batches the supplies needed, auto-confirms with each barn manager via SMS.
Walk to the truck, speak the lameness exam, drive to the next farm. SOAP commits when you re-enter cell range. Equine medical terminology trained in.

Monday evening — Back in coverage, sync
8 farms done. 26 SOAPs queued, all sync to the cloud. Coggins for the show horses auto-generate, USDA-formatted, digitally signed. Email goes to each barn manager. Stripe processes the credit-card payments from 5 of the farms. Your night is yours.
Tuesday & Wednesday — Same flow, 6 more barns each
The route updates dynamically. The Tuesday-evening reschedule from Monday morning slots into Wednesday. SMS reminders go out the night before. Nobody is surprised when you arrive.
Wednesday evening — Done
47 horses vaccinated. 12 health certificates issued. 6 Coggins forms filed. 4 lameness exams charted. 18 invoices reconciled. Your tech doesn't have to spend Thursday catching up the office. The route is closed.
“Real customer quote from an equine vet here. The version we expect: 'I do my entire 47-horse spring route from a phone and an iPad. The Coggins file is on the show grounds before the rig is parked. I'm not going back to paper.'”

Coming Q4 2026. The design target: PowerSync stores everything locally — chart, formulary, schedule, SOAP voice clips, billing — and syncs when you re-enter coverage. Goal is 8-hour routes with zero connectivity and <30-second sync when you finally hit cell. Until then, the app is online-only with connectivity warnings; equine practices on the waitlist get early access when the offline build ships.
Yes. VS Form 10-11 with auto-fill from the patient record, NVAP-accredited DVM digital signature, photo upload (front/side/distinguishing markings). Email-ready PDF. Some state VS-equivalent forms still in progress — check your state's status with us.
Yes. Common compounded preparations (oral altrenogest, transdermal trazodone, pergolide for PPID) are included with their typical dosing ranges. Custom compounded items can be added per-practice.
Breeding records (mare/stallion lineage, breeding dates, ultrasound findings, foaling dates), pregnancy management, neonate exams. Multi-year tracking for performance-bred operations. Equine-specific from day one, not bolted on.
Yes. Discharge instructions, post-procedure care, medication schedules — all auto-translatable to client's preferred locale (en/es/pt-BR/de). Spanish-speaking barn staff get instructions they can actually read. The horses get safer aftercare.
